The 2023 Toyota Tundra is an upcoming full-size pickup truck that stands out in its class thanks to its rugged design, and its powerful turbocharged and hybridized V6 engines. Also, depending on the choice of cabin size, this model can be had with a 6.5 or 8-foot cargo bed (Double Cab) or a 5.5 and 6.5-foot bed (Crew Cab). In general, all versions provide a very spacious cabin that has enough room for up to five passengers.
The latest Tundra is available with a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 that delivers a healthy 389 horsepower. Optional is a gas-electric powertrain using the same twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 and electric motor-generator.
2023 Toyota Tundra Facelift
For those who do not know, the Tundra has been redesigned last year, so the new model will mostly remain the same. As far as we know, the manufacturer will add more options and packages to choose from. You can get with the SR5 trims a SX appearance package that adds black and dark gray design elements.
The SX package also offers dark grey 18-inch wheels, rear bumper middle section, and rear 4×4 badge. It is worth noting that the SX package can also be chosen with color options like white, silver, gray or black.
More Modern Interior
Inside, the 2023 Toyota Tundra looks refreshed, and it brings more quality materials. Of course, the quality will increase depending on trim levels. For example, with the top-of-the-line 1794 Edition, you’ll get a more attractive wood accent. This truck has a very spacious cabin and enough room for up to five passengers. The Tundra comes with extended cab (a.k.a. Double Cab), which is available with either a 6.5- or 8.1-foot bed. There is also a crew cab (a.k.a. CrewMax) with either a 5.5- or 6.5-foot bed.
On the technology front, the new Tundra comes with a large 14 horizontally oriented 14.0-inch touchscreen. It also features as standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot.
