The brand-new 2021 Ram 700 is coming to the markets. It is the second-gen Ram 700 subcompact pickup that will not be sold in the US and Canada. A completely redesigned model will ride on a new platform and it will offer a four-door (Double Cab) body style. Thanks to that, Ram 700 can be used both as a work vehicle or a family hauler. There will be three trim levels, the SLT, Big Horn, and Laramie.
And while the first two trims are using the same engine, the Laramie variant will get a more potent powertrain option. There will be two cab configurations and the interior will provide more luxury than ever before. The sales should start in the coming weeks and here’s everything you need to know about new Ram 700.
Ram 700 Will Introduce New Platform
Visually, new 2021 Ram 700 is almost the same as its corporate cousin. The FCA will provide a couple of improvements, however. The second-gen Ram 700 will finally gain a look that belongs to the RAM lineup of trucks. The subcompact pickup will get a Rebel-like front grille with bold R-A-M letterings. The honeycomb grille looks unique, just like the complete front fascia.
The wheels are also new and more importantly, the platform is new as well. Thanks to that, the new Ram 700 can accommodate both front and rear suspensions. Moreover, ride quality will be better, along with the handling.

Interior Gets New Touchscreen
The forthcoming 2021 Ram 700 will get a couple of very interesting updates. The goal is to improve the truck’s off-road ability. For that reason, the interior will also get a couple of upgrades. That includes the seats and steering wheel with more grip than ever before. A new 7-inch Uconnect touchscreen is now offered as standard.
The infotainment system is the best system you can get in Brazil and it adds sophisticated features such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The wireless projection is also available and you can now pair up to two phones. Everything is more functional and all of the controls are more intuitive. Ram will add more places for your phones or any other personal items.

Optional Engine Gains More Horsepower
The all-new 2021 Ram 700 will provide more power than the outgoing model. For a start, there will be three trim levels. The first two trims are using a 1.4-liter engine with 85 horsepower. As for the Laramie trim, it comes with a 1.3-liter turbocharged powertrain that delivers 98 horses.
However, according to various reports, the new Ram 700 will generate 115 hp and 117 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed manual transmission is still available. On the other hand, FCA could introduce an optional six-speed automatic gearbox. This is just a rumor at the moment.

2021 Ram 700 Price and Release Date
Pricing for the 2021 Ram 700 pickup is not released yet. The price will slightly increase for sure, so you should get a new model for around $11,500. The range-topping trim will cost up to $15,000. Ram 700 is a subcompact pickup truck that will be offered in 14 different counties across Latin and South America. This model will go on sale this November.
