The off-road-oriented pickup was spotted in the streets of Farmington Hills in Michigan. The 2020 Nissan Titan Pro 4x version will introduce plenty of exterior modifications. For the start, this pickup truck looks tougher on the new spy photos. However, larger disguise suggests the revision of the front end.
That includes new LED running lights and a new shape of the headlights. A grille is redesigned, along with the bumpers. At the back, Titan Pro 4x will introduce redesigned taillights. We believe that Nissan will offer some new off-road equipment. On top of that, new features will be optional. The same could happen with the new optional wheels.
Improved Safety and More High-Quality Materials
In one of the spy shots, the interior layout looks different. That includes the red section drastically larger. The 2020 Nissan Titan Pro 4x will get a new infotainment touchscreen. As we can see, a new unit is larger as well. On top of that, we believe for the new screen to be offered as standard. This is a huge update, as the previous display didn’t satisfy the needs of the customers.
Physical controls are now moved below the all-new touchscreen. That means you can forget about the buttons on each side of the unit. Surely, Nissan will introduce even more updates from the inside. However, we couldn’t spot any differences, besides the new display. Customers can expect improved safety and more high-quality materials.
2020 Nissan Titan Pro 4x Powertrain Specs
To this moment, powertrain changes are a mystery. Surely, the 2020 Nissan Titan Pro 4x will keep its existing 5.6-liter V8. First reports are suggesting a new and optional engine. However, a more likely outcome is the current unit with a couple of updates. Nissan plans to improve its fuel economy. Now, the second reports are predicting slightly more power for the existing powertrain. Both outcomes seem to be realistic. For the current model, powerful V8 produces 390 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. A seven-speed automatic transmission is offered as standard.
The 2019 model can tow up to 10,000 pounds. Now, we can maybe hope for slightly more pounds. No matter what happens with the current engine, improvements are very likely.
Price and Release Date
The upcoming 2020 Nissan Titan Pro 4x will get a small jump in price. That means we can expect for this pickup to start at around $40,000.
However, this is just a rough prediction. Nissan could surprise us and keep the price intact, despite the updates. New off-road variant will arrive before 2020.
