Trim levels

2018 Mercedes X-Class new engine option
The biggest novelty for this year is a new engine option. From this year, buyers will be able to choose a version with the Mercedes’s 3.0-liter Turbo V6 engine. It has a total output of 255 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. It will come exclusively with the new 9-speed automatic transmission.
The rest of the engine lineup remains unchanged. There is a familiar 2.3-liter diesel engine from Renault. It comes in two output configurations, with either 161 or 188 horses. Finally, there is a gasoline version available in some markets. This model features a familiar 2.0-liter inline-four engine, which delivers around 165 horses. This version comes only in a pair with a 6-speed manual transmission.

The price of 2018 Mercedes X-Class goes in a wide range. It is a premium truck, so base versions go around 38.000 dollars. On the other side, top-range versions will cost you much more, almost 60.000 dollars.
