The refreshed 2023 Jeep Gladiator will go on sale next year, featuring unique design. Like the Jeep Wrangler, the new Gladiator will be offered with a folding top, removable doors, and even a folding windshield. Thanks to that, this truck is more unique than the models such as the Toyota Tacoma, Nissan Frontier, Ford Ranger, and Chevrolet Colorado.
The most exciting news is the Gladiator 4xe model that will provide a total of 375 horsepower thanks to a turbo 4-cylinder and two electric motors. We’re also expecting to be offered a standard 3.6-liter V6 or an optional turbo-diesel 3.0-liter V6.

2023 Jeep Gladiator Facelift
The forthcoming 2023 Jeep Gladiator is based on the Wrangler SUV, and they both share identical styling. It has four doors and is available with just one bed size, the equivalent of the size of a crew cab we saw on other midsize pickups. As we mentioned, the doors and top are removable as well, just like on the Wrangler model.
The sport trim, which is the base one, comes with 17-inch steel wheels, ideal for rock crawling. The Rubicon and Mojave are the most robust models and both come with bigger fender flares and all-terrain tires. However, unlike the Mojave model, the Rubicon also has protective rock rails, protecting the lower parts of the cabin and the bed.
What’s New Inside?
The 2023 Jeep Gladiator also offers a very modern and spacious cabin. There’s seating for five in total, and rear legroom is 38.3 inches. Compared to rivals, the Gladiator offers more legroom than the Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, and Chevy Colorado. We recommended stepping up at least to Overland, Rubicon and Mojave models because they all offer more technology. With those models you’ll get a forward-facing camera, body-colored 3-piece hardtop, self-dimming rearview mirror, navigation, SiriusXM traffic updates, and a large 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen.
Driver assistance features are optional, and you can get a traction/stability control, airbags, while standard is forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and rear parking sensors.

2023 Jeep Gladiator Engine Specs
Under the hood, the forthcoming 2023 Jeep Gladiator will be available in a few different engines. The base model will use a 3.6-liter V6 powertrain that makes 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft of torque.
If you go for the Mojave version, you’ll get a turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V6 that develops 260 horsepower. As we mentioned, the most exciting news is the Gladiator 4xe model. This version will provide a total of 375 horsepower thanks to a turbo 4-cylinder and two electric motors.
