Summing it up
Overall, the newest GMC Canyon is a super midsized truck with enhanced styling and powerful engine. It offers target buyers plenty of choices to pick from too.
Have had 3 GMCs : 1965, V-6 w/chrome rings; 2000, V-6 long bed w/4-wheel dr. and a 2005, 5 cyl. crew cab. Have been happy with all 3. Plan to purchase a GMC Canyon regular crew cab for my last midsize truck in either 2019 or 2020. Since I am 78, I need all the driver safety assistance you can offer for my last primary transportation vehicle. Currently considering the Denali 2 wheel drive with either a 3-6 liter or maybe? a diesel engine w/ 8 speed drive train for better mileage. I hope the new Denali trim interior includes a rubber floor covering option instead of carpet? My son has the rubber option on his new Chevy Silverado and it is much easier to keep clean. I also have a 2004 CTS Cad V-6 which is the best driving car I have ever own. It was my wife’s car before she passed away in 2014. Thanks for the updates.
