2023 Ford F-250: Here’s Everything You Need to Know

If you’re seeking for a truck that offers lots of tech features and a cavernous crew-cab interior, then the new 2023 Ford F-250 is worth waiting for. Along with this model, Blue Oval is also offering Super Duty models F-350 and F-450, but either of them doesn’t offer compact and robust styling like the F-250.

In general, the most impressive feature of this truck is its engines. Under the Ford Super Duty models there’s a trio of V8 engines. You can get a 6.2-liter gasoline V8 engine, 7.3-liter V8, or even diesel 6.7-liter with 1050 pound-feet. A properly equipped Super Duty can tow up to 37,000 pounds, which places it as the one with the best-in-class trucks with huge towing a payload figure.

2023 Ford F-250 Redesign

The new 2023 Ford F-250 is a workhorse that can be outfitted to suit any number of tasks. For 2023, the Blue Oval manufacturer will make it even more handsome. Of course, the robust styling remains, but we can expect revised grille, headlights, and much larger flared fenders.

Other than that, we’re expecting this model to come with the same tailgate step, LED lighting, power-retractable running boards, storable loading ramps, and a remote-operated power-locking tailgate. We also hear that there is a chance that Ford will introduce some new colors along with last year’s Antimatter Blue, Carbonized Gray, and Lithium Gray.

Cabin Includes More Technologies

Inside, the 2023 Ford F-250 will gain the same treatment as the recently introduced Ford F-150. So, we can expect the same roomy cabin with a generous passenger space. In case you didn’t know, the four-door crew-cab body style is the most spacious and is much family-friendly than the rest of the ones.

Ford provides an 8.0-inch infotainment display as standard that runs on the upgraded brand’s Sync 4 software. However, you can still get a much larger 12.0-inch unit optionally. This matches both Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra models that are available with a larger 13.4-inch screen. On top of that, we’re expecting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to come standard, as is a Wi-Fi hotspot, navigation, and a SiriusXM radio.

2023 Ford F-250 Engine Specs

Like the model before, the new 2023 Ford F-250 will be offered with the same V8 engines. The base engine is a perfectly adequate 6.2-liter gasoline V8, producing 385 horsepower along with 430 lb.-ft of torque. This engine is linked to a heavy-duty 6-speed automatic transmission.

The next one is optional 7.3-liter V8, and it also runs on regular gasoline, making 430 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft of torque. Unlike the first powertrain, this one comes exclusively with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The last one is a 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbocharged diesel V8 that is able to deliver 450 horses and a mighty 1,050 lb.-ft of torque. It also uses the same 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is the default configuration, while 4-wheel drive (4WD) is optional or standard on some upper models.

Price, Release Date

At this point, we don’t have information on if the new 2023 Ford F-250 will cost more than the outgoing one. However, if we consider mild upgrades and changes, the price will be slightly increased for sure.

The current Ford F-250 with XL trim and regular cab starts at $35,230. We’re expecting this amazing truck to go on sale next year, probably in the second half.
