The all-new 2021 Ford F-350 is arriving with further changes and upgrades. It is one of the best options in the heavy-duty segment. However, some people clearly think that there is a better option on the markets, given its starting price. We believe that it is on par with Ram’s and Chevrolet’s models.
Ford clearly has to provide more improvements to keep its F-350 competitive. This super-duty model comes with a strong engine lineup and plush interior. On top of that, F-350 is available in numerous trim levels and cab configurations. For 2021, Blue Oval will introduce mid-cycle refreshments.
2021 Ford F-350 First Look
Upper trim levels are looking very upscale. However, the base model could still benefit from numerous upgrades. The F-350 didn’t change that much in terms of design lately. Interestingly, even the upcoming 2021 Ford F-350 won’t get such significant visual updates. Boxy shape and vehicle’s dimensions are intact. On the other hand, front fascia and rear end will gain more chrome trims. Furthermore, some of the exterior features are enlarged.
That includes the grille and the taillights. Grille will be wider, but not significantly. If you opt for the Platinum or Limited trim levels, the front end will surely satisfy your needs. The front fascia is looking very upscale and premium. You can still choose between a single or double cab variants. Finally, F-350 will once again offer its iconic King Ranch trim level.
Cabin Design
You can’t see so much luxury in the heavy-duty truck segment. However, the 2021 Ford F-350 certainly has a lot to offer. It is one of the best interior designs we’ve ever seen in this segment. On the other hand, Chevrolet’s new interior is more than competitive. For that reason, Blue Oval will focus on the interior more than before.
Of course, the goal is to bring the base trim level closer to the premium look. Knowing that Ford will offer more wood and chrome details. Still, don’t expect drastic changes in terms of design or interior layout. If you want real luxury, you should go for the higher trim levels with leather seats. As for technology, F-350 will gain important updates and possibly a couple of new safety aids.
Engine Specs
The highlight of the 2021 Ford F-350 is its diesel powertrain. It is a 6.7-liter turbodiesel that cranks out 450 hp and 935 lb-ft of torque. It is an impressive engine in every possible way.
