The upcoming 2021 Ford F-150 Hybrid is a pickup truck that could become the best-selling company’s model in the future. F-150 is an iconic pickup and the 2021 version will be the new-gen model. The fourteen generations is coming and it will bring numerous updates.
Of course, hybrid and all-electric versions will be the highlight. The F-150 model is present for over 40 years and it comes with the status of a legendary model in the United States. As always before, Ford will find tough competition in new Ram’s and Chevrolet’s trucks.
2021 F-150 Hybrid Exterior Redesign
Before we write anything about a possible redesign, have in mind the vehicle’s shape and dimensions will largely remain. The forthcoming 2021 Ford F-150 Hybrid will look the same as the regular gasoline version. The changes are noticeable both on the front and rear fascia. For a start, Blue Oval manufacturer will introduce new headlights and taillights.
Moreover, new bumpers and door-mounted wing mirrors are available. The very same mirrors were previously mounted on the A-pillars. Now, mirrors will provide even better visibility. Ford will improve the aerodynamics of the vehicle as well. It seems like the 2021 F-150 is larger, but it isn’t.

Interior Changes
On the inside, the new-gen 2021 Ford F-150 Hybrid will also get some major improvements. You can expect a more luxurious cabin, especially on the upper trim levels. Moreover, Blue Oval will install additional high-tech features and the infotainment system will get essential updates.
The rear passengers could get an entertainment system, but this is just a rumor at the moment. All F-150 trim levels and versions will get a larger touchscreen and higher levels of comfort as well. The interior room is unchanged and generally, the layout will largely remain.

Hybrid Powertrain Specs, MPG
The all-new 2021 Ford F-150 Hybrid will use a “modular hybrid technology”. This tech is designed on a rear-wheel-drive system that uses a 10-speed automatic transmission. The very same gearbox is co-developed by Ford and GM. Thanks to that, the electric motor is wedged between the transmission and the internal-combustion engine. The complexity of this configuration is simpler and it also saves money. To this date, we can’t say the exact power figures.
From what we know, the very same system will power new Ford Explorer. An electric motor will provide an additional 44 horsepower. The most likely candidate for a hybrid setup is a 3.3-liter V6. This engine is producing 318 horsepower and 322 lb-ft of torque. According to Blue Oval manufacturer, this setup will provide around 500 miles of driving range.
2021 Ford F-150 Hybrid Price and Release Date
The next-gen 2021 Ford F-150 Hybrid will cost more than the base trim level. Regular gasoline F-150 starts at $30,000 while the range-topping Limited trim is priced at $70,000. As for the hybrid version, it should cost between $35,000 and $40,000. We don’t know when exactly will Blue Oval release F-150 Hybrid pickup. Most likely, it will arrive at the same time as the rest of the F-150 models. That means we can expect this iconic pickup truck to go on sale in the second half of 2020.
