2020 Ford F-750 Redesign, Upgrades

Ford is planning plenty of updates for its Medium Duty trucks. That includes the all-new 2020 Ford F-750. F-650 and F-750 models are the only Class 6 and Class 7 trucks that are offering both gasoline and diesel engines. This is probably the biggest news for 2020. Exterior looks modern and practical while the interior will get further technology updates.

The customers can choose between the existing diesel and the new gasoline powertrains. The F-750 Medium Duty truck is meant for commercial use. However, Ford still pays special attention to safety. For that reason, new F-750 will also get new safety equipment.

You probably think that there is no need to pay special attention to the design of the medium duty truck. Ford clearly thinks the opposite. Blue Oval manufacturer still prioritize the performance. However, the 2020 Ford F-750 will look surprisingly pleasing and modern. The inspiration is taken from Ford’s E-Series vans.

Plenty of similar cues are visible at first glance. However, the same cues and features are enlarged on the F-750 truck. That includes the hood, bumpers and even the headlights. Generally, F-750 looks like the larger Super Duty model. However, Medium Duty models are coming with a chassis cab configuration. The list of standard equipment is impressive and this truck looks practical.

Interior Features

Don’t expect any type of luxury inside the cabin. The 2020 Ford F-750 will get pretty basic stuff. The goal is to deliver a workhorse that will get the job done. However, we can’t say the comfort is awful. Far from that. However, base vinyl seats, standard radio and the lack of some systems are making the interior average. Thanks to the optional equipment, you can load more luxury if you need to.

The infotainment system is up to date. The instrument panel is upgraded and the steering column is all-new. Even the instrument cluster and the steering wheel are changed. Bluetooth and USB ports are available as standard. However, if you want something premium, you won’t find such a thing inside the F-750 model.

On the other hand, Ford paid special attention to safety. Even the F-750 is meant for commercial use, the safety department is clearly important to the Blue Oval. New medium duty truck will get Ford’s Co-Pilot 360 technology. On top of that, this truck will get traction control, auto headlights and hill start assist as standard. Optionally, you can buy adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and electronic stability control.
