A few weeks ago, we saw Fiat working on a smaller pickup. We thought it was a Mobi pickup, but it turns out it was a new 2021 Fiat Strada. Italian manufacturer presented the production model that will become available in South America. Strada will feature a boxy shape, according to the latest spy photos. Moreover, this tiny pickup is a very stylish workhorse that wears styling of the larger Toro truck.
In Brazil, Strada will wear the “Ram 700” name. Furthermore, Strada pickup has a strong connection with the Fiat Fullback model. The 2021 model will bring plenty of refreshments. Moreover, Fiat could provide a more potent engine and a high-performance variant is also a possibility.
2021 Strada Spy Photos
Newest spy photos are showing the latest upgrades on the 2021 Fiat Strada. This small pickup will borrow design from a larger Toro truck. Moreover, some cues are clearly taken from the Fiat Fullback. A prototype has been caught on camera with a more prominent grille. Moreover, large “FIAT” lettering on the grille looks very upright.
The radiator grille looks prominent and is flanked by a pair of sleek headlamps. Moreover, LED daytime running lights are integrated. Generally, the front fascia looks very eye-catching. Strada pickup will also provide interesting exterior paints such as Red Alpine and Black Vulcano.
Practical Interior
One of the Strada’s highlights is its practicality. Unfortunately, no interior photos are available right now. The upcoming 2021 Fiat Strada will surely borrow some components from other company’s models such as Argo, Cronos, and Toro. Small pickup will offer a user-friendly tech with the driver-oriented button layout. Don’t expect anything futuristic on the inside.
For that reason, Strada will get easy-to-read gauges and small displays. Moreover, comfort is solid, but far from luxurious. Optionally, leather upholstery can help you or you should go for higher trim levels. Still, Fiat will continue to sell Strada pickup as an affordable alternative for fleet buyers.
List of Available Engines
It seems like the 1.4-liter gasoline engine will remain a standard option. The MultiJet diesel engine is producing 95 hp and 147 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, it comes with a standard five-speed manual gearbox. Now, a more modern 1.3-liter turbo gasoline engine will become available. We don’t know how much power it will produce, but surely more than the standard engine option.
On top of that, an optional engine will arrive with a CVT transmission. The Italian manufacturer is yet to release all of its available engines. Whatsoever, Strada could also arrive in Europe, surely with different engine lineup. 1.0-liter turbo-four gasoline is the most likely candidate for European markets.

2021 Fiat Strada Price and Release Date
First of all, a new 2021 Fiat Strada won’t arrive in the United States. A tiny pickup truck will be made for South American markets, although it could go on sale in Europe as well. According to various reports, the orders will start this March. Moreover, the sale should start this summer.
The price is not available but Strada will surely cost between $13,000 and $16,000. Its range-topping Adventure trim level will start at $20,000. Lastly, Strada will be sold in Brazil as the “Ram 700” model.
