New 2021 Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition is another unique model that will arrive this year. Silverado offers numerous trim levels, cab configurations, and special editions. Realtree version is the latest one, but it isn’t the first time that Chevrolet works with Realtree. Two companies did almost the same thing four years ago. However, things will be different now.
The highlight of the new model is its camouflage-accented exterior. The design will suffer a lot of upgrades and the final result is a very unique pickup truck. Silverado Realtree will also provide various interior changes. On the other hand, all of the changes are minor. In terms of performance, this edition offers two engine options and two gearbox choices.
2021 Silverado Realtree Edition Exterior Facelift
The arriving model will look very upright and modern. New 2021 Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition is about to introduce numerous changes and the appearance is more distinctive. In our honest opinion, this version definitely looks better than the regular Silverado. The front fascia hosts new forest-themed camouflage and styling has been also improved. Moreover, numerous modifications are visible on the hood as well.
For instance, the power bulge looks perfect and Realtree delivers an impressive pattern that is present in the rear section too. New rear fenders are available and the Realtree logo sits in front of the bed-liner. Black exhaust tips, unique badging and new side steps are the latest additions. Lastly, this pickup will ride on 20-inch wheels and mud-terrain tires.
On the inside, this pickup truck will look very upscale and modern. The upcoming 2021 Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition slightly departs from the regular variant. However, changes are not drastic at all. Instead, the manufacturer opted for numerous minor refreshments. For a start, the same camouflage that is visible on the front fascia is present inside the cabin.
More precisely, on the door panels. The interior definitely looks more upscale thanks to this change. Chevrolet and Realtree will also add new infotainment touchscreen and numerous driver-assistance systems. The center console is finished in different shape and the seats are slightly different as well.
Engine and Transmission
The approaching 2021 Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition is based on the Trail Boss variant. The only difference is under the skin. Realtree Edition adds new Rancho shocks, a two-inch suspension lift, and a new G80 automatic locking rear differential. Moreover, this edition offers a Hill Descent Control system and a two-speed transfer case. Engines are a carryover.
That means a 5.3-liter V8 remains the standard powertrain option. It delivers 355 horsepower and 6-speed automatic transmission is in the offer. Optionally, a 6.2-liter is available and it generates up to 420 hp. You can equip this engine with a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
2021 Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition Price and Release Date
The all-new 2021 Chevy Silverado Realtree Edition will hit the dealerships this summer. The price is not available yet. However, we know that the Trail Boss variant starts at $40,000.
Thanks to that, Realtree Edition will surely cost slightly over that, around $45,000. It will be exciting to see if the 2021 version can beat the popularity of the model from 2016.
